DMCA / Copyright Policy

videodown.app ("VideoDown"), operated by TAPI Technology Global Limited, respects the intellectual-property rights of others and expects users to do the same. This page explains how rights holders can submit copyright complaints.
1. Nature of the Service
VideoDown does not host, store or index any media content. The Service is a technical tool that resolves links to publicly accessible content served by third-party platforms; files transfer directly to the user's device. Because no content resides on our servers, removal requests for specific media should generally be directed to the platform hosting the content (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, X).
2. Submitting a notice
If you believe the Service is being used to infringe your copyright and wish to notify us, send a notice containing:
- identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed;
- the exact URL(s) concerned;
- your contact information (name, email, address);
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf;
- your physical or electronic signature.
Send notices to: [email protected]
3. What we do with notices
We review complete notices promptly and take appropriate action, which may include blocking the Service from resolving specific URLs or domains and, for repeat abuse, restricting access to the Service.
4. Counter-notices
If you believe a URL was blocked in error, you may submit a counter-notice to the same address including the blocked URL, your contact information, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the block resulted from mistake or misidentification, and your signature.
5. Misrepresentation
Knowingly submitting false claims of infringement may expose you to liability. Please ensure notices are accurate and made in good faith.
